Job Description:Vara United is looking for strong Infrastructure Pre-Sales Architect (Managed Services Networking) with good communication skills for Infrastructure Management Services division. The shortlisted candidate should have strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills. Should have an ability to effectively communicate complex technical issues within the team, and is able to work individually or as part of a team to achieve project goals. Required broad architecture design knowledge in following technologies and areas: Managed Services (most desirable) Networking, LAN/WAN, VPN (most desirable) Security Operations Security in the Cloud Consultancy Privacy Security Services Security products (HW SW): SIEM, IDPS, Firewall, Web Gateway, HIPS, AV, DLP Legal regulations Physical access IAM Data Encryption Business Resiliency Role Summary Must have strong offshore experience (India) along with Infrastructure Management Services. Looking for someone who has more of a sales background who will participate in client prospect meetings, RFPs, etc Balance practical delivery constraints and budgets with customer requirements to drive an account strategy from proposal definition and generation, meetings and presentations, through to negotiation of SLAs to final contracting. Operations Consultant Work with customer operations team to provide advice to customer and/or internal Managed Services team to establish operational procedures to more efficiently implement best practices in Managed Services delivery. Stay up to date on Market, Business and competitive trends in the telecommunications and Managed Services domains. Must understand leveraged sales function and provide requisite support to Delivery Head from specific Industry Sector (Sectors: BFSI: Banking and Financial Services, Retail Market, Healthcare, Technology Telecom) Job Responsibilities Work with Account Management teams and with customers to develop Managed Services business opportunities, identify projects and establish the value that Managed Services can offer for on-going engagements - identify and analyze key customer concerns, technical initiatives, customer business drivers, and competitive landscape to develop specific Managed Services business opportunities and strategies. Solution design and scope description Value proposition for each specific opportunity Effort estimation and costing model Proposal generation Presentations and customer meetings in the Managed Services Sales Cycle Statement Of Work (SOW) creation for Managed Services engagements Designing best fit ITSM solution for the clients across different domains Demonstrate Vara Uniteds success within managed services and conducting capability presentations Ability to be independent and self-motivated in an evolving Managed Services Business Unit Ability to develop opportunities without a clear-cut set of tasks assigned Superb communication skills both verbally (including presentation skills) and written (documents, proposals, RFI, RFQ, RFP responses). Preferred Required Technical and Professional Expertise Experience in LLD and HLD designing of Network IT Security architectures Deep understanding of TCP, IP and other network protocols. Familiarity with DNS, DHCP and other network services Readiness to travel, up to 25% annually At least 3 years of experience on Specialist / Designer / Consultant position related to Security English: Fluent At least 2 years in client facing role At least 4 years of experience as Engineer / Specialist, hands on practical knowledge Pre-sales practitioner with proven background, working on large, complex engagements SME knowledge of networking, cloud and infrastructure is a strong plus Awareness of costing methodologies and financial factors Knowledge about outsourcing models and techniques Any certificates related to this position, like CISA, CISSP, CCSP, CCNP will be an advantage As a Pre-Sales resource candidate should be adapting / evangelizing the new technical Skills in general on a daily level expected to meet the below Should have extreme passion for Technology Should be a quick learner should have ability to adapt new technical skills should able to showcase/conduct Product POC (Proof of Concept) to colleagues /customers Should be able to work in a team/independently Should be ready to work extended hours in critical situations (on-demand) Need to attend all the mandatory technical trainings Able to demonstrate new technologies train internal staff/customers Need to travel outstation Minimum work experience: 4 years above as a Manages Services Networking presales Architect Education: Graduation in Science/ BCA/B.Tech with Sales, good communication management skills Certifications: Virtualization, Back Up Automation, Servers Storage Consolidation.
